Why did you choose Yeti?

Your photos are epic, original and opened the door for us to shortlist you… but your Facetime call sealed the deal. Felt like it would be more like having an extra guest there to capture the day rather than a formal photographer that we need to ‘pose’ for etc.

You guys…what do you do?…how do you spend your days?

When one of us is cooking, the other is playing music and pouring a drink. We follow each other around the house. We’re both very active and like exercising (mainly so we can eat and drink more…) Family is also pretty centric to who we are and we see many of them weekly. We have a couple of legendry niece and nephews who we adore too.

The proposal. Tell me everything. (All the gushy details!)

I took Ro back to her childhood home to propose there. I’d planned it with the current owners ahead. We were making a video for Ro’s dads’ 70th so used that as an excuse to go to the house. Upon pulling up I walked down the driveway with Ro shouting at me “you can’t just go walking down someone else’s driveway”. I knocked on and acted like I hadn’t seen them before, asking if we could look around the gardens etc as she used to live there. Took a while for me to get a word in edgeways because Ro was nonstop talking about memories and how this particular cherry tree was where they had a swing etc. When I got a cut in I proposed to her surprise of course. We then went to the beach and had it as our secret for the day before doing the rounds at immediate family.

Tunnels Beaches…..Why this place above any where else?

We love the sea/water. It’s grounding for us and we love to swim. The smell of the sea upon viewing the venue sold it immediately and we thought the venue would just create much more of an informal, chilled day compared to others we’d seen.

What experience do you want to give your guests?

A wedding without formality. Relaxed, fun and a meeting of people precious to us both. Good drink, dance and chill by the sea.
