Why did you choose Yeti?

When we saw your website we thought the quality of your videos was fantastic! We were impressed with the way your videos tell the story of the day and appear to capture the 'feeling' as well. We were also very happy with the quality of the video package offered as well as the option for drone footage.

You guys…what do you do?…how do you spend your days?

Dannah is a Clinical Trial Manager and Chris is a Business Unit Finance Manager. We love being outdoors, and try to get out to the countryside as often as possible, especially if a body of water is involved, even if it means a fresh beach trip in February. We both love fish/the sea (Dannah studied marine biology and Chris has kept tropical fish for years - it's actually something that brought us together). You could say we're land-locked sea lovers! Our second love is food, food and more food. Often eating far too much and then a little bit more. Especially Greek food, although Filipino food goes down well too, when Dannah gets around to cooking it! Other than that, we're the kind of couple that like to observe and enjoy taking in the special moments, but if you can get us talking, there's no shutting us up (another reason we're told that brought us together)!

….what’s important in life?

asides from work, we like to spend time walking our dog, catching up with friends and family, and attempting to grow our own veggies!

The proposal. Tell me everything. (All the gushy details!)

Chris tried to keep the proposal a surprise as much as possible, which was no easy feat! He used our work Christmas parties and the idea of designing our bathroom and kitchen as a smokescreen (which worked). We had plans to visit Bath Christmas market for a day trip, and Chris had decided to make this an overnight trip, staying at the hotel where we had our first holiday together 6 years before (raising Dannah's suspicions). The journey to Bath didn't go as smoothly as hoped and Dannah wasn't in the best of moods, but Chris managed to keep the proposal a surprise, leaving Dannah guessing up until the last minute (and praying it wouldn't be in the middle of the Christmas market)! Much to Dannah's relief (as both of us are quite private), Chris had arranged for champagne and flowers to be setup in our room on arrival, with a message reading "Will you marry me?". Dannah said yes and we celebrated by going to our favourite Greek restaurant in Bath.

Padstow Harbour Hotel…..Why this place above any where else?

Did we say how much we love the sea? The South West gives so many options of getting outside in the countryside and by the sea. We've had many memorable holidays in Devon and Cornwall, both separately in our childhoods, but also in our time together, and love any excuse to get back down there! Padstow Harbour Hotel is idyllically set overlooking the beautiful Camel Estuary, the views are breath-taking. The word "WOW!" was all we could say when she stepped into the ceremony room. Also, Dannah's family is quite religious, but both families appreciate tradition (although some rules are made to be... "adapted" right?), so when we found out we could get married at St. Petroc's Church, we jumped at the chance. St. Petroc's is a beautiful, historical Church, tucked away in a private, wooded area. We're excited for our friends and family to see us get married there!

What experience do you want to give your guests?

Relaxed, comfortable and for everyone to have a chance to see the sea!

Why did you have your wedding captured on video?

Some of our friends and family have spread out geographically over the years, and it's a miracle that we can get as many of them together in one place at the same time! We also wanted something to look back at over the years, and hopefully share with our children. Video can also capture the laughs of our loved ones, that'll help us to remember them during this special time, for years to come :-)
